Aluminum plate flashings are a standard feature of any proper roof window. They weatherproof the window from water and wind.
Flashings are made of aluminium plate.

- Secure frame connection that when properly installed and sealed totally eliminates the possibility for water leaks due to rain or snow.
FLASHING PROFLE
Sunlux Premium Windows may be ordered with three flashing types:
- Tile flashing
- Slate flashing
- Combi flashing (in slate or tile)*
* Combi flashings allow windows to be installed side-by-side, vertically or combined.
TILE FLASHINGS
Tile flashings allow for installation of the window in the roof and utilize an elastic bottom to divert water to the roof cover from the flashing.
SLATE FLASHINGS
Slate flashings are used on flat roof covers with materials such as roofing paper or asphalt material. Slate flashings do not use an elastic bottom.
COMBI FLASHINGS
Combi flashings join windows in horizontal or vertical groups. Roof rafter width should be specified to achieve optimum window placement.
